Posté le: Lun 17 Juil - 09:36 (2017) Sujet du message: Ivy League Students
It may seem that I am hard hearted, but it is difficult for me to have much compassion for students who get a full scholarship to an Ivy League school that I would have beg to receive such myself. Instead, I had to attend a public (state) university working during the period of undergraduate and graduate schools to pay my way through college. Luckily with term paper writing I could work more. Belonging to a fraternity was not even on my radar, and I finished school with an undergraduate degree and graduate without belonging to a fraternity. Outside of working and academics I had no time for a fraternity. I regret if I offended anyone, but I would have been so extremely grateful for a full paid scholarship to an Ivy League school and I am sure through part-time work, cultivating relationships with fellow well-heeled students, faculty, churches and non-profit organizations in the community someone during the holidays would have helped me if I got myself into a bind where I had no access to a decent meal.
